How does LexDraft integrate with Microsoft Word?
LexDraft is a native Word add-in available from Microsoft AppSource. Once installed, it appears as a side panel in your Word ribbon. There's no upload, no browser tab, no copy-paste between apps. Output goes directly into your active Word document as editable text. Works in Word 365 (Windows and Mac), Word 2021, and Word on the web.

Each comes with industry-specific clause libraries for SaaS, healthcare, real estate, construction, and finance. Enterprise customers can also request custom document templates aligned with their internal playbook.
How accurate is LexDraft's AI redline?
LexDraft's AI redline catches missing terms, conflicting clauses, ambiguous definitions, and risky standard terms (assignment, IP, indemnification, limitation of liability) at a quality comparable to a junior associate's first read. Always have a qualified attorney review the final output. The AI redline is a time-saver, not a substitute for legal judgment on the final document.
Does LexDraft handle non-English documents?
LexDraft generates English-language drafts only. We support drafting under non-English-speaking jurisdictions (the contract language stays in English but governing law, notice periods, and other jurisdiction-specific clauses adapt to the selected country). Non-English output is on the roadmap for Enterprise customers in 2026.
Can LexDraft replace my legal team?
No. LexDraft accelerates the routine drafting work that consumes 20-40% of in-house counsel and small-firm time. The complex strategic work — negotiation, deal structuring, regulatory analysis, litigation — still requires qualified attorneys.
